A True Story .... Carnation Milk
When opening a can of carnation evaporated milk for your recipes just smile and think of this:
A little old lady from North Carolina had worked in and around her family’s dairy farm since she was old enough to walk, with hours of hard work and little compensation…
So when canned Carnation Milk became available in grocery stores, she read an advertisement offering $5000 for the best slogan/rhyme beginning with “Carnation milk is best of all ....”
She said to herself “ I know all about milking cows and dairy farms… I can do this!”
She sent in her entry, and about a week later, a black limo drove up in front of her house…
A man got out and said, “Carnation LOVED your entry so much, we are here to award you $1000, even though we WILL NOT Be able to use it...
Here is her entry:

Carnation Milk
Is best of all, No tits to pull,
No hay to haul,
No buckets to wash,
No shit to pitch,
Just poke a hole
In the son of a *****.

@joonbug0861@mhdksafa I feel sad for you. I appreciate the natural but have coloured my hair at times, because sometimes that is also pretty. Humans like decoration. Do you cut/style your hair? Wear jewellery? Clothes? Drive a car? None of those things are "natural" either, and yet. You're still you.
@HeinzTweets@Travisfitzger10 Oh no!! This was our favourite BBQ sauce. I've been searching for it and trying to find appealing replacements without any success. My family will be very sad to hear this is no longer available.
@bewildered I'm mad at myself for giving in to this click bait. 😑 I'm sure that was nothing but a ploy to get people pissed off and earn the site advertising money.

Dear Author,
That person filling two roles? They and their alter ego are "one *and* the same". Please only use "one *in* the same" if you want to make clear that they have somehow crawled inside themselves.

@DraysTwits @PbchChi@dpeccles@LEBassett They most certainly do. Even though I will drink it with milk or cream sometimes, my preference is "basic" tea with sugar and lemon.
@zeninawad @docjsw @DrMarinaHarris I don't actually understand what you are trying to say here. The two individual points make sense on their own, but when put all together? I'm missing your underlying message. Sorry . :(
@docjsw @prizkillah @DrMarinaHarris I don't care who is doing the measurements. It still isn't a huge step sideways, and if it allows for a measure that actually makes sense, then I think people would be accepting. It should at least be an option.
@docjsw @DrMarinaHarris I don't really see how it's that much more invasive than the height and weight, but ok.
I don't want to get into the rest of it.
@docjsw @DrMarinaHarris Honestly curious: why not? If you can measure height and weight to calculate BMI, why can't you measure something more accurate just the same?
