@sharodickerson You don’t have to explain it to anyone, those people are being very insensitive. Family first! My parents are both gone, I would give anything to have one more visit. Make those visits as often as you can.

@teachergoals True and False. There are some kids that have no structure at home and they have issues that need support from their parents. Makes it very difficult when the adult (parent) is not willing to help, their child. As a teacher our hands are tied, there is only so much we can do.
