@Riceman61 wanted to respond to today's Sirius Speedway topic (I was at work). Went to Homestead for the Busch Series finale in 1996. Dad got the tickets from a friend and we went down early. I recall getting goosebumps hearing the engines being tuned in the garage.

We ended up walking 🚶‍♂️ around and accidentally missed Kevin Lepage taking the checkered flag (never made that mistake again). Fun fact: we were soooo green we accidentally mistook the nearby baseball stadium for the racetrack lol. But this sparked my lifetime love of the sport.
