Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

WHAT?! This 7th-grade girl was banned from presenting her pro-life poem in class even though she met ALL the project requirements.
School staff claimed it was because her poem was “politically charged,” yet they allowed poems about immigration and even mocking Jesus.
Standing for Life should not be controversial. It should be widely accepted.
This is exactly why we have a legal team dedicated to fighting discrimination against pro-lifers. If you’re facing free speech violations at school for advocating against abortion, email us at [email protected]
My home school district in Colorado forbade this beautiful 13 year old girl from reading her pro life slam poem in front of the class.
Little did they know it’d be heard by millions around the world instead.
The kids are alright 🤍
We spoke with a mother and her 13-year-old daughter after the girl was barred from reading a pro-life poem at school. They shared why this topic is so personal and important to them.
Try not to cry.. 🥹
The mother explains that her mother got pregnant with her at 14 and chose to keep the baby.
Now she herself is a mother and they have a thriving, beautiful family.
All because her mother chose life.
“There’s hope in hard situations. There’s purpose in pain. Good things come out of situations that seem bleak. My family is proof of that.”

Her school told her she couldn’t read her pro-life poem cuz it’s offensive and political.
Now millions more will hear it and its powerful message
