LitVM brings smart contracts, decentralized finance, and real-world asset tokenization to the Litecoin network.

The deal was structured as a SAFE at a $50M post-money cap plus a Token Warrant for up to 2% of LitVM's supply at launch, with governance rights and a seat on its Strategic Advisory Committee.

This investment keeps us aligned with development on the network and lets us build alongside ecosystem developers and partners to grow the Litecoin ecosystem.

As it matures, we anticipate a programmable layer on Litecoin can make every token in our treasury more productive.

That productivity is the first turn of a larger flywheel: as Litecoin's utility grows, so does organic demand for the asset, and a stronger treasury supports accretive capital raises that grow $LTC per share.

What stands out to me here is the time window, more than the CAGR itself tbh.

Boring survival across multiple full cycles is the foundation of every asset that eventually gets treated as serious infrastructure. The rare part is surviving it and still compounding through it. Most networks in this market manage neither.

Litecoin whales are stacking while everyone argues about LitVM

The number of wallets holding 10,000+ litecoin:native just hit 648, up 7% in five months. Per @SantimentData, the whales kept accumulating straight through uninspiring price action, while transaction volume sits at yearly lows.

What drives the attention is LitVM, @litecoin's first official smart contract layer, backed by the Litecoin Foundation (@LTCFoundation) and running on a testnet since April. The community is split on whether DeFi on Litecoin creates real demand, while testnet farmers chase a token that hasn't even been confirmed.
