I read "Love Letter to America" by Yuri Bezmenov (previous KGB member in the Soviet Union) in which he issues a warning to America. He warns of America falling to communism and mentions 7 Rules of Revolution that are used to get to that dreaded outcome. Below are the 7 rules, and how I see them reflected in our country today.
Rules of Revolution
1. “Corrupt the young, get them interested in sex, take them away from religion. Make them superficial and enfeebled.”
“Child friendly drag shows,” Drag Queen Story Hours, books in our classrooms depicting overt sexual acts and teaching children how to use adult sex apps like Grindr. Teachings of God have diminished and been replaced with Transgender ideology. Our children are not only being sexualized, they are being taught to question their own sex all together. How better to create a generation of confused, enfeebled children than to teach them that even the way they were born is wrong?
I believe the participation trophy phenomenon deserves a mention here as well. One of the best ways to set children up for failure is to teach them they will be rewarded no matter their effort or production.
2. “Divide the people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial issues of no importance.”
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Agenda is a huge part of this. On the surface it sounds like its attempting to combat racism. In actual practice, DEI enforces division by teaching individuals to focus on nothing but race, sex, and sexual preference. If you teach people to focus solely on these surface level attributes, they will begin seeing the world through that lens. So much for judging someone on the content of their character. MLK would be disgusted by this practice.
3. “Destroy people’s faith in their national leaders by holding the latter up for contempt, ridicule and disgrace.”
There is no greater example of this than the way President Trump has been treated by the media and the deep state ghouls. From the Russia Collusion Hoax, the Very Fine People Hoax, attempting to remove him from the ballot, and even trying to put him in prison. I have never seen a national leader more despised by the main stream establishment regime than Donald J. Trump.
4. “Always preach democracy but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.”
Just listen to the Biden Administration speak for more than 30 seconds and I bet you will hear the word "democracy” at least once. “Fighting for our democracy” “threats to our democracy.” It’s interesting to me that the ones preaching democracy are the same individuals attempting to remove their main political opponent from the ballots. Doesn’t that sound more like destroying democracy? They’re even doing it within their own party. If you would like to vote for a Democrat for President in North Carolina, Florida, or Tennessee, your options are Joe Bide or Joe Biden. Yay “democracy.”
5. “By encouraging government extravagances, destroy its credit, produce years of inflation with rising prices and general discontent.”
This one doesn’t need much explanation. Unless you’re filthy rich, you have been feeling this for quite some time.
6. “Incite unnecessary strikes in vital industries, encourage civil disorders and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the part of the government towards such disorders.”
Do you remember the “Summer of Love,” “mostly peaceful” protests? Daily riots, murders, arson, looting and destruction of businesses? Are you aware that Kamala Harris raised funds to bail these criminals out of jail? What about May 29th, 2020 when a group of leftwing extremists fire bombed a guard station near the white house and forced the President into a bunker?
We now have legitimate FELONS writing crime bills. Terra Simmons, felon and state rep in WA state has sponsored a bill that would give judges the power to reduce sentences for violent criminals. These people want MORE violent criminals on the streets, not less. I would address January 6th here as well, but for some reason that event was not viewed with any leniency or a “soft attitude”.
7. “Cause breakdown of the old moral virtues: honesty, sobriety, self-restraint, faith in the pledged word.”
Drug addiction is a huge problem in our society today, with around 100,000 deaths from overdose last year alone. Degeneracy is practically praised, when in the past it was shamed. Self-restraint is not only not encouraged, it is forbidden. Obesity is encouraged, porn, drugs, gambling. Our society has largely become hedonistic, putting immediate pleasure and gratification above all else. But hey, at least we’re not being “fatphobic.”
The breakdown of faith in the pledged word is impossible not to see. The public’s trust in our institutions and media are perhaps the lowest they have ever been, and for good reason. When honesty is no longer a value, why would you expect it from anyone, let alone the elites?
Yuri wrote of this in 1984. If Yuri Bezmenov were alive today, I believe he would be terrified for our country, and rightfully so.
