As a student body, we need to do a better job of supporting our athletic programs. These athletes work their behinds off just for the UC and Strawberry Stadium to be at half capacity. That is on us as a student body, not athletics or their “poor marketing”.
Continuing, I think it’s more on the students than Athletics. As a fraternity member, we all gather in friendship circle on gamedays. We drink, we party, it’s the ultimate tailgate. But come kickoff, everyone packs up and just leaves.
The biggest think that I took away from this is the support from student. Which SLU struggles with. SLU does a great job with attempting to get students at athletic events. Greek Night and Bus Trips in collaboration with SGA are some of the many attempts
just can’t wrap my head around how you loose a head coach to a likewise school in your conference. I guess McNeese is paying her what she’s worth. Definitely something deeper to this. #LionUp
into reality. I’m filled with gratitude for every step that led me here, and I’ll forever carry the pride of being part of something so significant in the world of sports.
I am beyond thankful and blessed for all the incredible opportunities that have come my way. Being part of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans is a dream come true, and it’s something I used to fantasize about as a child.
