@KirkHerbstreit please acknowledge what you know to be true. Miami and ND should be in and Bama out. Bama lost to FSU 31-17 and to Georgia 28-7. Miami lost to 2 crap teams. In a 3 team grouping, with 2 two loss teams and 1 three loss team, what two teams really should be in CFP?

@RGIII Solution: get rid of conf championships. Look at the sec. If bama loses, they will still keep them in, along with 3 other teams who weren’t “good enough” to make the conf champ ahead of a team that lost to Florida State 34-17.

@PTI People are missing the point. Bama is now protected. If they lose, they drop to 10 and are safe! If byu wins, nd is out. If byu wins and bama loses, Miami is in cuz byu is no longer the buffer. If byu and bama lose, nd is in because bama becomes the buffer.

@GetUpESPN the CFP made a brilliant move to protect Bama. If Bama and BYU both lose, they can flip ND and Bama again and both are in. If BYU wins and Bama loses, BYU jumps in and Bama can still drop to 10. If BYU and Bama win, they can save face and put Miami in over ND.

@Espngreeny And the decision to leave FSU out told all college football players that TEAM doesn’t really matter. FSU won with 3 diff QB’s. Could Alabama win w/o Milroe? Or Washington w/o MPJ? Or Texas w/o Ewers. We don’t know. But we know FSU wins w/o their superstar!
