@YurelisWorking@SStricklandMMA 10000%. The idea of "stop resisting" painful stimuli is worth a conversation. There is certainly indications to use those tactics, but we all have to agree that they are extremely escalatory for everyone and lead to these outcomes.
@SStricklandMMA Shit got spooked and one of the agents made the wrong split second decision. Then another agent hearing loud fuckin bangs in his ear grabs his firearm as everyone is now backing away from "GUN GUN GUN" and the dude gets 2 mags dumped into his back. Travesty any way you look at it
@SStricklandMMA Resisting arrest shouldn't be a death sentence unless the very few circumstances are present - weapons, vehicles, etc with clear intent to use them. I don't see that in this case. My opinion is that they started yelling gun gun gun, which they are trained to do.
@Cueskipping@InternetH0F Or use a tag line. The pilot can also pull in some heavy power, which will slow the spin. The hoist operator is in charge of relaying that, though ๐ค
@sarahadams@lbc360@sentdefender With noteworthy development of more sensitive X-ray scanners and AI-driven threat detection systems, why stick to archaic methodology?
@CynicalPublius You should read/watch Starship Troopers. Even if it's a revisit. You'll find great enjoyment in the perspective vs the current events ๐
@JevikantSharma@sentdefender It seems there is some important context missing surrounding the $30B . The US has froze peri $100B of Iranian currency via sanctions. To negotiate a peaceful resolution, they could free up some of that frozen cash for civilian nuclear energy programs.
@infantrydort One would wonder if there was actually a "leak" or if it is all completely fabricated by the media. Given the OVERWHELMING success of the of Midnight Hammer opsec, I'd be surprised if there was actually a leak. Just a thought.
