@TicketmasterUK@oasis Have had a harder time trying to get these tickets (which I haven't managed), than getting Glastonbury tickets 3 years in a row. ๐ Account suspended, kicked off the website, queue resetting itself, being told I'm a bot, being told to reset my password... An absolute shambles.
Are you afraid to go out this evening because of the colour of your skin?
No?
There you go.
Thatโs what is called privilege.
Stand by your friends and colleagues who donโt have that.
Speak up for them.
Use your privilege.
Thanks for coming to my #TEDtalk
A reminder that, as a Government Minister, Robert Jenrick ordered the Home Office to paint over cartoon murals at a centre for unaccompanied children seeking asylum.
The dehumanisation of migrants doesn't happen in a vacuum.
Own it, and apologise for the part you have played.
Spare me the big boohoo about the cost of immigration when you're out there on the streets burning down libraries and police stations and flooding the courts and costing the tax payers more money than any immigrant you've ever met.
@SarahGa64960944@Salty_Swippo@noodles_nood Nope. Not true. You can sleep on your break if you want to, you aren't paid for your break time you can do what you want. Within reason.
@thomasrprice@goatteeboy It was all the shouting, and it was so fast-paced and frantic, just needed some time to recover! ๐ Looking forward to carrying on with it soon.

My first job in the NHS was as a radiology department assistant when I was 19. I loved working there and they do amazing work. A department in the NHS that is a real unsung hero.
@NWAmb_Mia Happens to us as RMN too...
Me: "This patient has sepsis. Please admit."
A&E "Nahh you don't know what you're talking about".
Belittling and laughing about RMN training ensues.
Patient eventually admitted, and treated for... Sepsis!
@dean_susi@TheBreakster@ShaunLintern@patcullen9@theRCN In an RCN meeting with the members after the deal had been announced, Pat said that the Govt had told them to recommend but she'd said no and they'd only recommend it if they felt it was the right thing, so the negotiators made a choice. They weren't forced to recommend the deal.
When the public are in need, the NHS is there.
Now the NHS is in need, and the government ignore us.
We need a genuine pay offer to fix staffing levels.

@Dkell999 Commitment to consider ๐ what a joke, it's not even an actual commitment but we're supposed to buy and accept this as a credible offer? Not to mention, why would we even want a separate pay spine? This is just designed to divide us even further.
@Dkell999@theRCN A dreadful offer. We'll still be receiving a pay cut but it's being packaged like some sort of victory. Not to mention the 'bonus' payment being subject to tax, NI, student loan and pension deductions so we won't even receive it all. Reject. Reject. Reject.
