What’s funny (as a kid who was into both He-Man and TMNT) there’s been a ton of BAD turtles stuff. They’ve just always had a presence. It also doesn’t hurt that Viacom/Nikelodeon bought them and refused to ever let them have gaps in exposure.

@deeceelife @kirkneverdied As someone who really enjoyed the movie (despite some of its flaws), He-Man just isn’t the same IP that some of these other properties are. I always compare it to TMNT, which continues to stay relevant through multiple generations.

They’re clearly bringing all these big names in, but they can’t MAKE these guys sign. These are much bigger names than what they had been bringing in, in the past.

Which…honestly they should have had an upper hand. Teams like Florida and Michigan are desperate. These are to a degree luxuries.

@steveaultman53 @Horns63 @DaytimeCash That’s probably the biggest legit beef. I think they believed in their development maybe too much last season. Ultimately Texas has been effective in the portal over the years, they just didn’t do much outside of DT last season.

They’ll get dudes and given their track record with them; they’ll probably mostly be assets.
