@khawe@Brett_McMurphy Clemson, normally FSU, and Louisville are all perennial top 25 teams. Miami has been on the rise for the last few years. Now enter UVA and Ga Tech too. Clemson has recent championships, of which Notre Dame has none. ACC isn't the SEC or Big10 but it's definitely ahead of AAC.
@TomMendozaTalks@NDFootball There are ADs and representatives from every P4 conference on the committee. Join a conference if you want your interests also represented. And not just halfway. All the way. ACC would have lobbied for you too if so.
@Hogballburner It's how other programs are doing it.
True NIL is about a company/sponsor partnering with an athlete as an influencer. You can only be an influencer if you have followers to see your content. If Hog fans follow our athletes on socials, they have more opportunities.
@lonniechestnut3@jakotasain@ChestnutRusty @WHawg516056 I'm not here to fool you. You're doing a fine job looking like fools on your own. There's no embezzling or conspiracy here. Edge is trying to help maximize NIL potential for our program. This public witch hunt over nothing does not help that mission.
@ChestnutRusty@lonniechestnut3@jakotasain @WHawg516056 Fine investigative work, super sleuths. Also publicly available: my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in June 2024. I stepped down to take care of her until she passed in Nov. I still support Edge when I can, because I still believe NIL is our way to level the playing field.
@jakotasain@hardtobeahog There are many reasons for what is happening. Marcus is a good man. So is Alex. They are both doing their level best. NIL has changed. Less need to fundraise from big donors. More focus on true NIL deals with companies for athletes. And memberships still help too.
