Thanks for Joining! 🙌
What a class tonight. Thank you to everyone who joined and for the brilliant questions. We are getting record numbers for these sessions, and it really does make them better.
As requested during the class, we have added the high press links underneath the recording, which is now available in the collection for our subscribers.

#ENGARG England went too defensive 5 at the back allows overloads in wide areas too many players protecting the middle instead of balancing the formation and changing like for like has cost us the game #England#WorldCup#Argentina
England are into the World Cup Quarter Finals 🏆
Here’s a small sided game variation they used in training leading up to the Mexico match.
📍 Area: 36 yards long x 24 yards wide
📍 9 yard offside end zones at each end
📍 7v7 + 1 (Varied to smaller number in other setups)
📍 Two touch limit, except inside your own offside zone
This game encourages timing of runs, compactness, defensive principles, blocking, closing space, attacking principles, movement, and getting shots off.
Simple setup. Loads of repetition.
Save this one for your next session and follow for more training ideas.

@Corleone040480 You know makes me laugh is that only Muhammad has heard from this Allah but no other Muslim since Muhammad has heard from Allah … and I wonder why…

Forward Passing and Running | Game🏃
⚽️ Created On: @SSPlanner
📌 Timing forward passes with forward support runs.
🧩 Set-Up:
➡️ 30 by 16 yard space. Plus 3-yard central zone and 4 yard end line scoring zones.
👕Teams: 4 x ⚫️s vs 4 x 🔴s plus 2 x 🟡 support players.
How to Play:
➡️ 🟡’s Start the practice in each half of the field.
➡️ Alternate the attacks between the ⚫️s and 🔴s.
➡️ The attacking team must have one player in the central shaded zone.
➡️ Each defending team has one player in their defensive half.
➡️ Each team has two ways to score when they are attacking:
1️⃣ Slide in a runner into the opponent’s 1/2 and score with a 1st time finish off the 🟡s.
2️⃣ Dribble into the shaded zone and score in the mini goal.
➡️ If the defending team win the ball, they score as above.
🚧 Constraints:
🏆Reward: If a team finishes an attack and scores within 6 seconds, they get double goals.
👨🏫 Review: The timing and weight of the pass and the timing of the support run.
🚫 Restriction: Touch limit in your half.

🅾️🅾️ Wayne Rooney: On Lionel Messi performance against Austria:
“I’ll say this now, what we’re witnessing right now is just completely mental. I’ve played at the absolute highest level, I know what the physical toll of this game is, and Messi scoring twice today to break the all-time World Cup goal record? It’s just insane.
How are we all sitting here acting like this is normal? The man is 39 years old. At 39, most lads are sitting on a beach, or struggling to get out of bed for a Sunday league kickabout, let alone dominating the biggest tournament on Earth. It defies logic.
He’s out there gliding past players, reading the game three steps ahead of everyone else, and finishing like he’s still in his mid-twenties.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: anyone who still doubts Lionel Messi as the greatest to ever play the game simply is not mentally OK. It’s that simple.
There’s no footballing argument left to have. Even if your brain has been completely disconnected, your eyes alone just sitting there watching what he is doing on that pitch should tell you absolutely everything you need to know. You don't need a tactical breakdown. You just need to look at the screen. To do what he’s done throughout his career was incredible, but to reach the pinnacle of the World Cup record books at 39?
We will never, ever see anything like this again. We just need to stop trying to analyze it and appreciate that we're looking at the absolute best to ever lace up a pair of boots”
What does the FA Technical Guide have to say about the Escadinha | Three in a line?
• Deception - going against the flow
• Positioning & Scanning - body shape to receive
• Technique - weight of pass
• Timing & Movement- to attack the new space - on the blindside
