Our Transition Year students were up and out early for a jam-packed day of activities in the Netherlands. The day started with a visit to the Ajax stadium, then to the Westfield shopping mall and ending with the Tiki waterpark. Action packed and lots of fun.

Our Transition Year students enjoyed 30-degree sunshine on their first day in the city. An extensive bike tour was rounded off with dinner near the hotel, before students took part in an unofficial pool tournament and other evening games.
On Thursday, 14th May, a relay tournament for 6th Year students and class teachers was organised by the TY Future Leaders class. Each base class entered a team of two girls and two boys to compete in a series of relay challenges involving balance, running and fitness exercises
Sixth year Ag Science students visited Michael Martin’s tillage and beef farm in Rathnure, Co. Wexford. The day was filled with lots of students discussion on farm safety, welfare, nutrition, housing and care of beef and calf to beef systems.
