The Ford government stole $25 million from us while emergency rooms closed, infrastructure fell apart, people on ODSP starved, and homeless people froze in the streets.

An announcement like this, should include a fulsome approach to the #foodprice conversation. It should include members of the value chain, not just the grocery stores - everyone from #agriculture through to consumer. That's how we have the most constructive conversations and come up with the best solutions.
#CdnAg, how are we feeling about this?!
But the federal government can't do this alone. The biggest bottleneck to housing construction right now are the provinces. By their own estimate, Ontario has only implemented 21/74 recommendations of their 19-month old Task Force report. https://t.co/Zg8J98fWJL

It’s pretty petty, but the WestJet PA story resonates because it shows Conservative arrogance and entitlement and the corporate world’s willingness to let Poilievre break rules

This is the irony: carving up the Greenbelt doesn’t deliver on the promise for anyone (other than those lining their pockets in the short term).
As an urban growth boundary, the Greenbelt has been a mechanism to shift our housing development from endless sprawl and the long commute/inevitable traffic congestion to a transit-oriented region, with a diversity of housing types.
We were only midway through this transition - still building out the transit we need, still adding density to deliver on complete walkable communities.
To abandon this trajectory now is like sabotaging the future of the region.
Traffic congestion will get worse. Housing affordability - forget it. Access to nature in proximity to urban places - nope.

A billion lost on 407 fees, multiple federal billions unspent, 8.3 billion given away, Ontario Place, Science Centre. They are pillaging Ontario while closing ERs and cheating Teachers and Nurses. What will it take?? #FordCorruption
“Fire Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Steve Clark, halt the development of Greenbelt lands and call in the cops.
In our view, that’s just the start of the clean-up needed…”

Remember when moving 2 gas plants for $230M was the "biggest scandal in Ontario's history"?
This is Doug Ford giving away EIGHT BILLION DOLLARS to a small handful of developers.
People need to go to jail.
