Let's move beyond Neglect/Panic/Repeat -- underfunding public health but alarm when we need it -- OP-ED | Remember Public Health’s Value After COVID Is Gone https://t.co/wt7OGMy0nm via @CTNewsJunkie
Ok. Just a bit of a rant this AM. Apologies. Like everyone, I am watching lots of news and reading more articles than I should online. While I respect ER docs, Emergency Medicine profs, and all physicians, we need to #hearfrompublichealth practitioners more. @CNN@MSNBC@foxnews
Today's metrics, with an all-time high in tests reported and all-time low in test positivity rate, reflect momentum in our testing strategy and discipline from the people of Connecticut to wear 😷, keep their distance, and follow safety guidelines.

So much fun to be at Speed Mentoring with @APHAStudents . You are amazing! You are already doing such great things and will go far in public health. Change the world!
That's a wrap for our National Student Meeting! Thank you to our speakers, luncheon guests, panelists and of course all of our students for joining us today. Come check out our other events throughout the week!
