@BuffaloJetFan I’ll buy into the new regime since they aren’t tainted yet and they do this for a living. I’m hoping they can keep us afloat in 25 enough to retain G Wilson, Sauce, Breece etc but time will tell. Almost all FA moves in the JD era were beloved and they all flopped as well
@Mann_O_Steel17 What’s the pitch to keep guys like Garrett, Sauce, Breece when you go into year 4 losing again? Lose 4 years straight and get paid and hope we can turn this around even though you’ve thought that would happen by now? Hard to see us not losing them if we go into rebuilding again
@Playlikeajet1 content with losing 4 years straight without wanting out? Plus we’re opening 2 huge holes on top of the ones already existing on this roster
@Playlikeajet1 Here’s my thing, Rodgers and Adam’s while not in there prime are our best options. We aren’t in a spot to draft a top QB and Rodgers is still probably better than Tyrod or whichever FA we could pickup. Let’s say we do go full rebuild, how do we expect Sauce, Garrett, and co to be
@NYJ_Matt If Chris comes in and runs the show these next 4 years might suck. Ive always been under the thought process that I wont give my kids a choice but the way 2020-2024 has gone has me rethinking this.
@BoyGreen25@JFowlerESPN Unless we can get a run stuffing DT/ or edge help why trade him? Were in a win now position what help would a mid to late round pick be for this season. If an injury happens to GW or Adams having Mike Will on the roster could be huge.
@uSTADIUM Absolute haters. As if Tom was playing GM in Tampa bringing in Gronk, AB, Fournette. HOF QBs should be able to do that, same thing with Peyton in Denver. The team around him is talented and all the players love him
@snyjets@Connor_J_Hughes I’m no fan of Hackett, BUT I think us Jets fans should be aware of the Gase/Manning dynamic in Denver which was very similar. One of the worst offensive minds in recent memory was the OC for another HOF QB even in Peytons MVP year. Rodgers has had a similar career to Peytons also
@BuffaloJetFan I agree with most of the list. If we add a solid RB2 we’re close to ahead of Miami. I dont see Mostert having the same level season as last year being 31 yo. Didnt Buffalo lose both starting safeties? That might be one group were higher up on also
@RichCimini I get why were all split but werent the Jets interested in Michael Mayer last year? Also heard Jahmyr Gibbs would have been in consideration at 15 if he were there. Seems like JD leans BPA regardless of whos currently on the roster.
@nyjetsfansonly Our LT last year was 38 and wasnt coming off a 2nd team all pro season. Smith is a HOF I dont see any reason to complain about the pickup
@LukeGrant7 Bakhtiari, maybe Donovan Smith as a swing tackle. Draft RT. I dont like it but Odell at WR seems like the most realistic option at this point. Id like to swing for Sutton maybe a 4th and a future pick gets it done
