Saw the first installment on PBS about Afghanistan . I thought I knew a lot of about the county but i was wrong. For those of you who are interested how this beautiful country falls into a deep abyss tune in. At points in its history women had equal rights and went to school.
When I watched the Sunday morning program on CBS and saw the horrible suffering in Africa, I was reminded on this 4th of July the privileges we have. We have many problems but death by starvation is rare .
My day started perfectly. Spilled cat litter all over the floor. Then took out the garbage and ran over a bag of it with the car . Another cleanup . Obviously not good at household chores .
Is the only hole NBC going to cover is the 17th par 3 . Yes watching pros hit the ball in the water is entertaining for a well , but there are other holes worth watching !
Reading the McKendree Hospital by Rick Steelhammer, curiosity provoked leading me to an old history of Fayette County, a fascinating read . C. Shirley Donnelly, Historical Notes of Fayette County . Highly recommend if you are interested in the history of this region.
@hannah_bobbi I noticed when we played Kansas they bumped our guards hard when our guards had the ball . No foul. In the big east it was not a foul but I the Big 12 it is and user the new rules . Kansas is allowed to play physical .
@jeff_ruff The issue is why did a potential final four team implode . We had Culver , Knote (sp) McBride and Twishbe (sp); three disappear with hoop dreams to pros, only one making it, with a disgruntled one doing well at Ky. Our football team is bleeding players too. Disappointing.
What hurts so bad about the BB team losing is that I am losing enthusiasm for the NCCA tournament. I love Basketball but the downfall of Mountaineer BB is a gut punch.
