@Bloftus6 @DaileySuzanne As a team of specialists, we see each other at lunch a empathize with the tough class that we just taught and spend time sharing what works well with Ss in that class to make them successful #cbsdpd
@DaileySuzanne@CBmrswilliams @CBj_dixson A screensaver mantra sounds personally great. Our art teacher and I want to put positive quotes on the walls at school for all to read and think about.
@ChristineRick3@DaileySuzanne I also am a realist, but love the plan to be a positive realist and strive to give my two minutes at least everyday to a colleague and student. Sounds so doable!
@DaileySuzanne The leaders I am thinking of accept everyone in the building for who they are; experienced, new at their job, marigolds and walnuts. Its a person that you want to go to for advice and just to listen to you. #cbsdpd
@Bloftus6 @cbsbombowsky@DaileySuzanne A5 So what is the consensus gang, do I had these two book titles to the professional collection at Groveland Library for next year?
@CBmrswilliams@CaseyArtCBSD@DaileySuzanne We are lucky that way! They often change so much from K thru 6 and become so confident and like wonderfully weird middle-schoolers!
@CBjtownsend@DaileySuzanne A5 I also think my ss like being in library even though the reading/writing part is weird for "special". I also work happy at getting those who don't like it in the beginning, having fun
@CaseyArtCBSD@DaileySuzanne A4 I so agree Erin! As a specialist I see empowerment as my mantra! I want them to take on their learning for themselves and with my support they can use their internal motivation to keep adding to their skills each year that I see them.
@Kutz2ndGrade @CBeHerman@DaileySuzanne A3That senior walk was so inspiring to me! About 12 ss came to visit me after the walk was over and talked to my 3rd grade kiddos. Told them how much library helped them in H.S.
@OConnorReads@DaileySuzanne A3 Thanks for saying this! I use actual playing cards with the kids and a couple always receive a wild card to control their seating or product and I want them to learn to be their own wild card...although I love being a wild card!
@OConnorReads@DaileySuzanne A2 Those stories are so important and I use them to help find a "just right" book or learn to find a book that fits their story on that particular day
@CB_MrsTorok@DaileySuzanne A1 I also want to be the one who listens to stories, especially with a new library schedule that gives me small group times with those students who want to talk and learn more than the big class
