If Peltola had chosen to run for the open-seat governor position, she'd probably be the odds-on favorite to win.
And governor is a much better job. More personal power, Dems actually weirdly enough have coalition majorities in both chambers of the AK legislature, and no 12+ hour flight to DC (and remember her husband passed away recently in a plane crash.)
But she challenged an incumbent for Senate, which is much more important nationally. An extremely noble personal sacrifice. Many Dems (cough cough Whitmer, the 10 million people running in ME gubernatioral) could learn from her.
I am proud to endorse this incredible slate of candidates for statewide office.
I am confident that each and every one of these leaders will fight and deliver for Georgia families. Let's get to work.
Ossoff: They tried to run Kemp, but he refused. So we're left with the congressman who's only a congressman because his daddy was a congressman and the coach, who's only a coach because his daddy was a coach.
It doesn't matter which one wins . They're both Trump puppets and we'll beat either one of them in November
I want to thank Senator John Cornyn for his years representing our state.
We don’t agree on everything, but we both still believe in public service.
To Senator Cornyn’s supporters: you have a place in our campaign.
Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.
Raja Krishnamoorthi must be seething. He spent his entire House career fundraising for this seat, followed and unfollowed everyone on here, and yelled at staffers for not speeding.
He STILL lost. Deserved
Psaki: Would you like Rep. Crockett to campaign with you over the coming months?
Talarico: The congresswoman is a fierce campaigner, so I would be honored to have her campaigning with me and for the whole ticket. And I know that she's expressed interest in doing that.. She always puts the cause first. And and I'm very grateful for that.
