This Wednesday, I’ll be filing a Home Rule Petition and Ballot Referendum along with co-sponsors At-Large City Councilors @juliaforboston and @Henry_Santana3 to bring Rank Choice Voting (RCV) to Boston.

RCV is straightforward and simple: Voters have the option to rank candidates in order of preference, ensuring winners have broad support.

This petition, a law specific to Boston, requires approval from the City Council, Mayor, State Legislature, and Governor before it reaches its final hurdle: a ballot referendum where Boston voters ultimately get to decide!

This forward-thinking reform aims to boost voter engagement, ensure fair elections, and reflect our city's diverse preferences. 🗳️✨
