Narakoduru in Andhra Pradesh is one of the villages living this change every day.

An absolute delight to share that @DoT_India’s Samriddh Gram Integrated Phygital Services Project has been declared Global Winner of the #WSISPrizes2026 under the Enabling Environment category by @ITU.

This is also a global recognition of Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji’s vision of an inclusive #DigitalIndia, where the benefits of technology reach every citizen, including those in our remotest villages. Powered by #BharatNet, Samriddh Gram transforms connectivity into opportunity, delivering healthcare, education and digital banking and livelihood services through village-level Samriddhi Kendras.

This feat also reaffirms India’s leadership in Digital Public Infrastructure, underscoring that solutions built for India’s needs can serve as scalable models for the world. My heartfelt congratulations to all the stakeholders behind the achievement.

When we learned that pensioner Shri Marshal Kerketta could not visit Sambalpur BA for his due DLC because of his health, the @ccaodisha team went to his home and generated the DLC on the spot.
