@AnfieldLounge Notice the passing. As a team, we have not passed like that on a regular basis since Slot’s first year as a manager. Our attack currently sits between a possession based approach and a direct, more vertical approach and we’re not good at either. Hopefully that will change.

@Bamrennixlfc Bobby is a better all around player than Wirtz. But, if Wirtz was playing the Bobby position in the 433, he could make it close . The big difference is Bobby’s physicality. Wirtz can’t match it, at least at this point in his career. I hope he proves me wrong .

@pythaginboots You saw the B'Mouth attack , which is similar to ours. Macca and Dom do well in MF. Need a LB. Araujo provides better defense. Isak isn't quite the Evanilson role but is more active. The tweaks come with Wirtz and Barcola. When this clicks, look out .

@dfkenny01 How did Isak score? Did Gakpo put it on his foot? I think not. Give credit where it's due, Wirtz attacked, flicked the ball back on to Isak foot. Yes, the ball was contested by the defender, and may have had a part in it as well. Without Wirtz attacking there is no goal.

@DailyFootyTakes 2 seasons, 2 coaches, 2 systems, new players. The Intl Break with Klopp will do him good, he plays a similar system and knows what it takes to get players going. It's not just him. You're seeing glimpses of what it could be, just not there yet. Defense now is key.
