In #Hambantota, from the tidy office of Hope Village officials and the village doctor’s detailed health records for women and children, I could feel Sri Lanka’s grassroots efforts to improve governance and the progress already made.🆙

Lush tomatoes🍅in a China-supported greenhouse and soon-to-open village #waterfacilities 💧 show how assistance can empower development. Kudos to #HIPG for helping Hope Village grow—not just by giving fish, but by teaching people how to fish.
