1996: 4.45m breeding female cattle and 19.5m breeding f sheep. 2021: 3.3m breeding f cattle and 14.5m breeding f sheep. Ruminant numbers falling & GHG emissions rising. Maybe its not the burps.

Milestone event here at Fraserburgh today with excavation work commencing on our new irrigation system.

Making a decent job after yesterday’s monsoon

Just finished installing a new plastic tank and twin inverter drive booster set to resurrect a system which been idle for approximately 12 years! The controller was reinstalled and worked! Full testing of the system will be carried out shortly.

A 2 station controller was installed to control the water filling the tank. Tank filling will only happen at night so as not to interfere with the neighbouring property which uses the same water supply. Thank you for JF Supplies for the tank and Filpumps for the booster set

A second larger tank added to give additional storage. Both tanks linked together and they be fed from a new borehole which will be live shortly.

⛲️ IRRIGATION SYSTEM UPGRADE PROJECT
Next up irrigation on double green 1st/17th & 4th.
This upgrade means less missed/dry areas, less hand watering, less sprinklers per green. All will improve the condition of the course.
