The University of Cyprus has published a tender for the development of the first phase of the Photovoltaic Park “Apollon”. This phase includes the installation of photovoltaic systems of 5 MWp power, as well as an energy storage system of 2,35 MWh capacity.

The installation of the energy storage system would be the first large scale installation of such a system in Cyprus and would be the backbone of the future energy management system of the Campus. It will contribute to the electrification and decarbonization of the Campus.
