1/4: On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had our last annual review meeting for the @USAIDKenya Electoral Conflicts Mitigation and Civic Education Support (ECCES) program ahead of the next phase.
3/4: But here's a sneak preview: in areas where many thought the youth and women won’t show up to cast their ballot, the program contributed to their voting.
Several areas were considered hotspots, but the program contributed to abating the poll violence.
On Monday and Tuesday, Act! had an annual review meeting for the Electoral Conflict Mitigation and Civic Education Support (ECCES) program, which @USAIDKenya supports.
Stimulating Inclusion of Vulnerable Women, At-risk Youth & PWD in Governance in Kwale County, focusing on Kinango Sub-county. We engaged Kinango Sub-county stakeholders to develop a working model for enhancing service delivery & accountability of the various actors. @NLinKenya
@KYBI_ke through the RPS Program organized a meeting of criminal justice actors in Lamu Island, Bringing together stakeholders from the judiciary, ODDP office, probation, CSOs, women, and youths to discuss the PCVE context in Lamu county
