The First Amendment to the US Constitution states it is “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” These are not peaceful assemblies. It might help to share that section of the First Amendment via a bullhorn with a warning that those who are not assembling peacefully will be arrested.

@barneyhurley1 This is incorrect. Larry’s Zox did not paint this album cover. It was done by Hollywood Artist Zox (legal name). He’s a friend … It just sold a couple weeks ago at a Sotheby’s auction for $28,000.

“The Gospel of Thomas is not included in the Catholic Bible because it is considered a second-century forgery with teachings that contradict the canonical Gospels. In my view, anyone in authority over the teachers who approved such an outlandish “activity” should be fired. If they want to keep their jobs, all teachers who participated should be required to take a refresher course on educational accountability and how to incorporate debate into their lesson plans, particularly focusing on assessing both sides before forming political opinions. They should also individually apologize to both parents and students for this irrational, prejudicial behavior. PS I voted as a Democrat the majority of my life. I now hold a no party voter card. I have taught English at the middle school, high school and university levels.
