@peterhaskell880 Got a knock on my door late that night…it was a neighbor frantically requesting a ride to Roosevelt hospital. His wife was in labor and there were no taxis around! So we embarked on a 30 block adventure through the dark streets. A few hours later I had a new neighbor!
@celinegounder@GrantWahl Wishing you and your family the strength to push through this tragic time together. May the memories of your husband live on forever in your hearts and minds.
Retired city employees worked hard for decades and deserve a choice when it comes to their health care. @NYCCouncil must amend the city's administrative code NOW!
@karagoucher Thanks for your willingness to share your stories. Curious to see if some of them match bad running advice I've gotten - and taken - over the years (and, of course, some of my own self-inflicted, not-so-bright running decisions I've made over the years)!
@BuddMishkinNYC Exactly Budd! It takes world class skill to vividly describe this game well enough for the listener to “see” exactly what’s playing out on the field. @HowieRose takes a backseat to no one!
@peterhaskell880 I wouldn't forgive myself if I missed watching either one! Seems like the bigger the game, the better they are. Amazin' for sure! #LGM
@michaelmina_lab Great read! Thank you for sharing this. So grateful that rapid tests are readily available today. Too bad it took nearly 2 years for it to happen. Thank you for your tireless work in playing such a huge part in making rapid testing a reality.
@joeyfox85 Hi! Thank you for sharing this. Does the ceiling height (therefore the volume of the room) come into play anywhere? I might be missing something. Thanks!
@kgavigan@Mets Agree totally! My 2 kids were so excited about it and then we saw the message on the scoreboard. So disappointed it was not announced earlier…this is why we bought tickets for today! (A win would have taken the sting out a little too!).
@stevens1lab X? Y? I would choose a different variable. X is too popular (although nothing better to mark the spot). I'd go with Z to add some dimension. Ok full disclosure...not a scientist but a science teacher in awe of all of you scientists out there doing your thing so I can do my thing.
