We're proud to be a part of @TexasCEO's mission and impressive inaugural issue. I kicked off 2020 with an in-depth piece on the 86th #txlege and what to expect in the coming year. ⬇️ https://t.co/9UJieJbIi4
A respected State Senator, a strong conservative, a godly woman, and the current estranged wife of @KenPaxtonTX cannot announce her support for him.
Very telling.

Today, Memorial Day, we remember the Fallen Heroes that gave their full measure to preserve American Freedoms both at home and abroad. We should keep the Gold Star families of the most recent 13 of our Fallen in our special prayers as they go through their 1st #MemorialDay without their loved ones. #fallenheroes
A $50B data center only pays $1-2B for its energy hardware.
As energy becomes the main constraint, they'll be willing to pay more for the fastest energy sources.
The speed of nuclear will surprise everyone: Aalo just went from dirt field to finished 10 MW reactor in 5 months.
Aalo has received DSA approval from DOE for our 10 MW reactor, zero-power criticality!
This is the equivalent of an NRC license in DOE space. We've been working towards this milestone at Aalo for 2.5 years.
This was a very ambitious project under the DOE reactor pilot program for a bunch of reasons:
➡️ 10 MW, commercial-scale system.
This is a system with the full-scale amount of fuel, moderator, controls, etc, necessary for powering AI data centers. Proving out this supply chain is a big deal. In the coming weeks we'll be taking it to zero power criticality, and then going to full-power operation in the months that follow. We'll be getting the factory set up in parallel to mass-produce it.
➡️ Built everything ourselves, from scratch.
We started with a green field, and within 4 months finished the building, facilities, policies & procedures, reactor, shielding, instrumentation, control, etc. People thought this would be impossible to do on this timeline for a reactor of this size, but we've done it. Hyperscalers care about speed, and we're showing that moving fast is possible at commercial scale.
➡️ Achieving criticality before July 4th.
We set out to ensure we met the president's order, and we are on pace to do so. We only started hiring at Aalo 2.5 yrs ago. It was questionable how realistic it was to take on all of the above while being one of the younger nuclear companies, but we are on track to pull it off.
Insanely proud of the team for all the hard work, nights and weekends that went into this.

Moments Ago: A visibly agitated Hakeem Jeffries says “I stand by” calling for “maximum warfare” against Republicans.
“You can continue to criticize me for it, I don’t give a damn about your criticism!”
Unhinged.
A lot of people are asking why more politicians are not like Ben Sasse.
Because voters will not elect them, that’s why. They may say they care about character, but most don’t vote that way.
Instead they vote party line, ideology, self-interest, or out of pique against a perceived enemy.
How can we expect our leaders to embody higher levels of virtue if a majority of voters don’t make personal character a red line?
It looks like we get the leaders we deserve.
Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.
@GameTimeATX@ErinHogan No way but that’s my fear if the Cotton Bowl doesn’t figure out how to manage 1 game a year .. ridiculous.. home and home has to be plan B.. never to Jerry World!
@GameTimeATX@ErinHogan Is TX limping into the tourney? Yes. Am I a homer? Absolutely. But the # of Quad 1 wins tells me TX could surprise if our guards plus Swain play well.
Early yesterday, when chaos broke out and a gunman began shooting - killing and injuring innocent people - three Austin police officers ran toward the gunfire to end the threat.
All three were working overtime.
They had already completed their regular work week. They were filling vacancies on patrol shifts, stepping up to make sure their city was covered. Had they not volunteered for that extra duty… had they not answered the call to serve beyond what was required… who knows how much worse this tragedy could have been.
They were there when Austin needed them most.
That willingness to serve - to stay ready, to stand guard, to move toward danger without hesitation - is not unique to just these three officers. It is the mindset of every APD officer who puts on the badge. The work ethic, courage, and commitment to this community are unmatched.
When seconds matter and lives are on the line, Austin’s officers show up.
And yesterday, because they did, lives were saved.
@ErinHogan I hope the SEC reviews the Gators taunting at the end of the game. The Gators have always been classless and nothing has changed.. ps. Lee for FL needs to be punched in the face
