Thank you Dad for shaping me into the woman I am.
It was your time but I am still unprepared to let you go.
I recorded and edited this in the few days between him passing and the funeral.
He is my inspiration and influence to vlog as well as live in a van. the OG vanlife vlogger
The reason I have not been active on social. I process grief with creative process (singing, editing). You can tell where my influence to live #vanlife and to vlog comes from, right?
I would appreciate if you light a🕯️in the Youtube comments for my Dad.

@zem_ti@fuckyouiquit ... but ... isnt that exactly what they did? At least according to the article that this post hear is referring (but not linking) to, it is.
@992_Turbo_S@fuckyouiquit Agreed very much so! And if they speak up about unclaimed expenses they 100% will get reimbursed too! Just saying that the reasons they were let go are not a reflection on them doing something wrong as people are speculating here but that they were part of announced layoffs.
@baggspipes@dmdx86@fuckyouiquit Btw - I had a package that included a small bonus soon for relocating and HR offered to expense the cost I had already occurred instead. They did not have to offer that. Thus why I call BS on the original post.
@baggspipes@dmdx86@fuckyouiquit That’s 100% what happened. Plus it was widely announced and well known that 18000 layoffs would be happen starting Wednesday and people would be notified via email. There is no excuse not to be prepared (not saying the layoff doesn’t suck - I’m impacted and devastated!)
@baggspipes@dmdx86@fuckyouiquit Thank you! I honestly can’t complain. I got a really generous severance & support that puts me in quite a comfortable position. I have amazing support from the network. I’m mostly devastated because of the fun work environment and amazing colleagues but I will be ok!
@anozireth @fuckyouiquit I racked up over 10k a month traveling full time doing focus groups across the world. I am not an executive/vp could not eat it. It’s possible. But it’s also why I chose to put it on the corp cc and do my expenses immediately.
@fuckyouiquit Here is the announcement why everyone waited for Jan 18 emails to Drops. More guidance was sent before internally

@fuckyouiquit 3) Everyone I know ensured expenses are done before the day
4) even if you did not, Amazon will 100% reimburse expenses that you can provide receipts for
5) most of these are most likely hotel & meals paid through personal cc & loyalty programs to rack up points - u have receipts
@The_WickerMuZz@fuckyouiquit You do get both. People traveling regularly for Amazon in the US mostly prefer using their personal card to rack up benefits.
@baggspipes@fuckyouiquit They allow it & offer a corp cc. Submitted expenses are paid in a matter of 2-3 days so there is very little risk. As long as you don’t break the rules as to what is expense-able it is pretty safe to use you personal cc. You do have to submit your expenses at some point though!
@CyphChoseBliss@P_Ski18@fuckyouiquit Plus - aside from items paid for in cash (probably a couple meals only) I would assume all of these are either on cc or you can receive a copy of all hotel / rental car invoices no problem
@CyphChoseBliss@P_Ski18@fuckyouiquit If purchases were made with Amazon card, the charges would sit with the company. Must have been cash or own credit card. Most people in the US prefer own cc over corp to rack up cc benefits. Anyhow - never would Amazon make an employee eat the expenses.
