$420M+ in alleged compliance failures since 2022, including fifteen cases of the US-regulated stablecoin issuer taking minimal action against illicit funds.
over the past few months i’ve been intentionally taking things slow, recharging, and being thoughtful about what i wanted to work on next. i’ve always believed that great ui/ux is one of the most powerful ways to make complex systems accessible, and it’s something i’ve felt the crypto space has been missing for a long time.
that’s why i’m excited to share that i’ve recently moved to the sf bay area and joined @RobinhoodApp to help build robinhood chain. robinhood has long set the gold standard for user experience in financial products, and seeing the team double down on bringing that same level of accessibility and design to crypto, while working toward making financial systems more open, efficient, and accessible for everyone, felt like the perfect opportunity for where my skills and interests align.
would love to connect if you’re in the bay area!

the bar in crypto is low
i’ve seen people turn up late to meetings because they think they owe that time
i’ve seen people have 5 days to draft something only to send it 2 days late
i’ve seen people disappear when things get hard, instead of communicating
it’s not genius that sets teams or individuals apart in this industry
it’s basic professionalism
showing up on time
delivering when you said you would
communicating when you can’t
do the basics well, and suddenly you’re in the top 1%
