@RyanBOliver I think most everyone would agree that he is an immense talent with massive upside. All the questions for the Wiz at 1 revolve around his personality/leadership and suitability to be the face of the franchise going forward
@lockedonwizards Late lottery= Gsw 11, OKC 12, Mia 13, CHO 14. Simplest deal is AD to GSW for Butler and 11
Next cleanest is JC + FRP in 29 (from Brogdon trade) for 12
@esidery If AD ended up with Portland, I think it would need to be a 3 team deal -- Possibly with Sacramento so Sabonis ended up in DC and players and picks to Sacramento
@BrysonAkinsNBA@Domo8186 Thats a good point. I used him as an example because it appears that the Wiz had tried to acquire him a couple of times in the past -- including before they ended up with AD
@BrysonAkinsNBA@Domo8186 Similar in availability but I think AD can fit into a conventional offensive scheme better. I think a better outcome would be a 3way deal with AD to Portland, picks and players to Sac and Sabonis to DC
@BrysonAkinsNBA Good call! They have too many wings, not enough bigs. Its inevitable someone gets traded and JC returns the most. I dont think they want to bail on Whitmore just yet because of his upside. Same with Watkins
@BrysonAkinsNBA@MrCongee Quickly and Poetl both have negative value contracts - mainly because of injuries. Poetl has 4 years and over $100 mil remaining and has a chronic bad back.
@BrysonAkinsNBA It's going to be a long month until the draft! Ultimately it all depends on things that we simply can't know right now - like what player do the Wiz really like? How badly does Utah want AJ? It's all posturing, subterfuge, and negotiating between now and draft night
