Devastated to hear of David Knowles's death. He & colleagues on Ukraine the Latest have been my daily companions for years now - as I washed dishes, did the laundry... and today, sat on the Victoria Line in tears. Deepest condolences to his family, friends & colleagues.
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, David Knowles.
David was a talented journalist and a much-loved friend and a colleague. He will be greatly missed.
James C. Scott, my mentor and friend, has passed away. A legendary social scientist, Jim was an exceptional scholar and one of the kindest people I've ever met. His contributions to political science and anthropology are unparalleled.

It's hard to believe it’s been 12 years we lost my dear friend and colleague Marie Colvin, murdered by the Syrian regime alongside Remi Ochlik while we worked in a makeshift media centre in Homs in 2012. Me, Edith Bouvier and Wa’el our dear translator were all seriously 1/3

Absolutely shocking news. I only had brief professional contacts with Heather Rogers through work on the @IpsoNews arbitration scheme, but every time I was struck by how she combined brilliance with common sense & kindness. Condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
Words cannot adequately express our heartfelt loss at hearing the devastating news of the sudden death of Heather Rogers KC, our valued colleague, friend, and former member of chambers at both 5RB and 1 Brick Court.
