@mmillions Also the water taxi is a fun alternative to the more expensive architectural boat tours! Would recommend taking it all the way down to Ping Tom Memorial Park, which is quite pretty and then you're in Chinatown (though it might not make sense to go there since you live in NYC)
@mmillions I don't know what your dietary restrictions are but I like Fat Rice, Bang Bang Pie, m. henry, Piece, Spacca Napoli, Birrerria Reyes de Ocotlan (and Simone's nearby has great karaoke)...
@hammitt Minneapolis: Bryn Mawr is an excellent place for a family, biking, skiing, and sneaky close to bars etc in the North Loop (though the other neighborhoods you mentioned are good too, and I think the "engaged in community" metric is particularly high in Seward)
