"Zelensky better damn well stop," the President said. "He's making problems for our farmers, our ranchers." The two people making problems for farmers & ranchers are (1) Putin by invading Ukraine in the first place, and (2) Trump by invading Iran. Mr. Zelensky has nothing to do with it.
The United States is now officially allied with Vladimir Putin and Russia. We will fund Russia’s genocidal war machine in exchange for Putin helping Trump and the Republican Party in the midterms. One of the most shameful and disgusting days in the history of this Republic.
Super Sky Point to Mike Ditka. I moved to Chicago in 2003, over a decade after “Da Coach” prowled the sidelines at Soldier Field for the final time. Yet his presence has always felt current. He arrived in 1961, a crew cut chunk of granite who hauled in a dozen touchdowns as a Pro Bowl rookie tight end. A quarter of a century later, he was carried off the field in glory at Super Bowl XX. Four decades later, his shadow casts large as ever over the banks of Lake Michigan as the only Bears head coach to ever hoist that precious Lombardi.
He’s beloved in this town for many reasons. Because he always said what he meant and meant what he said - even if sometimes he shouldn’t have said it. Because he loved the common man. Because even when he was an asshole, he was OUR asshole. Walter Payton is the greatest Bear. Dick Butkus is the most violent. George Halas will always be Papa Bear. But no one, and I mean no one, better represents what it means to be a Chicago Bear, or a Chicago Bears fan, than Mike Fucking Ditka. St. Peter, grab a helmet, because today he’s young again. #RIP
As a homicide detective, I can say with all of my being that there is no lesson learned in seeing someone die. But there is a price. And that price is your peace. Your decency. And the soul of our society.
We don’t have to be this way, this fake tough but real ugly way. Stop
My sin was this, that I looked for pleasure, beauty, and truth not in Him but myself and his other creatures, and the search led me instead of pain, confusion, and error.

Reminder…Life is short.
Tell people you love them.
Make time for your friends.
Investigate your God-given purpose.
Practice gratitude for the small things.
Stop waiting for the “perfect opportunity”
This is the time.
I heard a statement from an older woman recently,
“We worked so hard to give our kids what we didn’t have growing up that we neglected to give them what we did have.”
An example of a God beyond our comprehension that many modern people refuse to believe in- Many people say "I can't believe God could have reasons for allowing evil and suffering that I can't think of. If I can't think of any good reasons—there can't be any."
When we say "I can't believe in a God who would ___", many times, in one way or another, ultimately we are saying we don't really want a God beyond our comprehension.
