1) Riots throughout France for days now. I was expecting you both to release heated screeds denouncing Macron and France for so unjustly denying the “students” who are burning schools and churches and attacking women with acid and police officers and fire fighters w Molotov cocktails….denounce France immediately and demand a two state solution; and
2) widespread reports identifying the co-pilot in the Fly Dubai “incident” as being radicalized Muslim who intended to crash the plane within Israeli territory. You know….9/11 kinda thing.

1/ Friday’s revelations about the Flydubai terrorist attack should bring one uncomfortable history immediately back into focus: Palestinian terrorists helped turn aircraft hijacking into an international political weapon.

We now know the Flydubai co-pilot was 29-year-old Omani Hamam al-Hammami. The UAE prosecutor general says he attacked the captain with the cockpit’s crash axe and attempted to seize control of the aircraft in a terrorist attack. The plane, carrying 182 people, plunged more than 16,000 feet before he was overpowered. Reports now say Oman had previously barred him from flying over concerns about extremist views.

The tactic has a history, and it is one worth remembering. The Palestinians honed hijacking into the modern method of terrorism we know today.
