Well, as I said before, the infrastructure isn’t there, but also, we have tried “separate but equal” in the US and it went poorly then. I think the big problem we have is the assumption that trans people are inherently dangerous creepers. We aren’t.

If there was a third option, I would use it for my own safety, but the infrastructure for that isn’t widespread enough to make it a reasonable ask right now
