In 2023, Alex Reinhardt tragically passed away at the age of 20. His family was told his tissue donation went to "an elite athlete." They learned last week that their son's donation went to Lonzo Ball and it's helping him come back stronger than ever after his knee surgery.

A really special pregame ahead of tonight’s Bulls game. Lonzo Ball welcomed in the family of the donor for his knee replacement surgery.

20 year old Alex Reinhardt passed away in February of 2023 and his family is here tonight for the special meeting with Ball.
