@GordonBrianR Was recently made aware that combined manufacturing capacity of US + Allies (Japan, S. Korea, Germany, etc) is GREATER than China. Would, however, require long-term policy, coordination and diplomacy. Trump is bereft of such qualities.

@joequant I fear you overestimate how much Trump cares about winning elections while underestimating the resistance he would face accepting this investment. My guess is more likely the US continues the casino capitalism model.
