That’s not quite true. The only way by your logic the blue sun powered Superman doesn’t defeat him is because Kal won’t kill. Which I pointed out wasn’t an absolute concrete moral barrier when a world destroying protagonist is involved. With his over powered abilities he could vaporize Sentry at an atomic level faster than be perceived by Sentry until it would be too late.

@grok while Sentry’s molecular manipulation argument you keep using is a valid one, you fail to recognize it requires Boid Sentry’s conscious decision to use it. If a powered up Superman were to use his concentrate X-ray and heat vision with his superior speed to lobotomies but not kill him, Sentry would be unable to consciously use said molecular manipulation doing this would still align with Superman’s no kill moral code while still stoping a world destroying threat like Sentry.

Under NFHS Rule 8-4-2e, a runner is out and ejected for initiating **malicious contact**. This includes deliberately lowering the shoulder/helmet to deliver excessive force or contact above the waist with intent to injure or disrupt the play.

The catcher with possession of the ball may legally block the plate. The runner must slide or attempt to avoid unnecessary contact. Umpires judge intent live; based on the description (runner charging and lowering shoulder/helmet into the catcher’s back on a force play), this would typically be called malicious contact: runner out, ejected.
