@_LukeCSkywalker @FactCheckBrit @elonmusk Then since the feds are in control of whether or not you're a citizen, they need to provide a way for every citizen for free to get their proof of citizenship and then the States can demand it to register and vote. Otherwise it's a poll tax.

@amber7930 @ronrule @SmallGov4All But even here in Colorado I had to prove I'm a citizen in order to register. But we also use mail in voting which is a lot more convenient and I use a secure dropbox at my local library to drop it off. Prohibiting that is a violation of the Constitution and States' rights.

@rf121rf @ronrule Then either you're voting by mail, or you're not voting. And I live in Colorado, one of those "evil blue states". We still show ID to vote in person. If your state can't figure out how to run voting that's something to take up with your state legislature.

@JacktheWhiz @IvoryHecker They were made to be computer readable so any programmer could write something to parse them. Otherwise hospitals would cheat and make everything into images that would be difficult to OCR reliably.

@aaronbailey @donwinslow Oh and by the way no not every citizen has a birth certificate. Especially one that is issued by a state, because a lot of older people only have the old hospital issue kind which do not count. Also unless they are free it is a poll tax.

@aaronbailey @donwinslow Oh contested elections will still be a thing. They weren't contested because people thought non-citizens were voting. When we audit we find it almost never happens. People will continue to contest the results because they don't agree with them.
