Nasi Tumpeng is traditional ceremonial food only served on formal events, is highly valued and has sacred meaning behind it, and therefore should be prepared accordingly to the rules and usually served on a bamboo woven crock called nyiru or tampah with a banana leaf as its base.
One of the arts is batik, an Indonesian technique of wax resist dyeing applied to whole cloth. The specialty of Surabaya batik will appear if you pay close attention to it. The example is Batik Parang, Sidomukti, Kawung, etc.

Halo! Piye kabare? - East Java uses Javanese as everyday language, and that's how you greet people in East Java. Apart from Jakarta, Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia, aka City of Heroes, which is the capital city of East Java.

This is my 2nd subtheme ft. community based Tourism in East Java.
Kuda Lumping may be performed in celebration of a special event, such as a boy's circumcision or rite of passage.
The attraction of Tamansari lies in the object of the Water Palace and the historical Tamansari buildings. Taman Sari also has a moving attraction for tourists through batik products. These batik products are products developed by the local community to attract tourists.
The other one is Taman Sari Village, located in Patehan, Kraton, Yogyakarta City. Is the site of a former royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. The tourist attraction offered is referring to the potential recourses of the village itself, both natural and human recourses.
