I proudly voted against SB 150 today in the house. We can not advance love for our neighbors while passing hate legislation. This bills targets a population who is already marginalized in our society. My hope is (someday) we can focus on legislation that promotes love for All.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has signed 8 more bills, including HB 302 giving secretary of state more power over county voting plans, the HB 538 student discipline bill, and SB 94 giving nurses more prescription authority. #KYGA23
@CallowayforKy Having difficulty deciphering if this is a clip attached is from our Kentucky State Capitol or a religious service? SB150’s slimy process, blatant disregard of human beings & evidence-based practice, and gov interference makes this a head scratcher for me.
@LetsGoB7@ky_statesman@karenforky@KYSenateGOP Jerry blocked me and set a lovely boundary for my abusive gaslighting as a constituent of the commonwealth. Hope he gets the help he needs from all of this bullying and that we can talk about it one day ❤️
HB470 hearing well underway in senate committee in Frankfort…@WKYT
Here’s Kentucky pediatrician Christopher Bolling of the Kentucky Medical Association speaking out against the legislation:
June Onkundi was a mother, wife, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She was stabbed to death by her patient in her place of work. In January she was beginning a Doctorate program at Duke. What a tragic loss. #pmhnp#workplaceviolence
