@StaffOfBots This is really helpful, thanks!
One question though: doesn't the Author role also allow publishing? I'd rather make sure the agent can't publish at all, not just instruct it not to.
Quick question for those vibe coding AI agents:
How do you safely give an AI agent access to your WordPress site?
I'm building a YouTube-to-blog agent and want it to upload images and create drafts.
Would you use the WordPress REST API with a dedicated user, or something else?
Vibe coding update
My YouTube-to-WordPress AI agent now has an editor where I can rewrite sections with AI, manage screenshots, and export HTML.
It also supports manual image uploads.
Next step: connecting WordPress to create drafts and upload media automatically.
@unclejobs_ai Exactly! Human review is a must.
But the real headache for me? Getting the AI to grab the right screenshots from the video to illustrate each step in the blog post.
Writing the tutorial was the easy part
My next vibe coding project: an AI agent that turns my YouTube videos into blog tutorials.
Upload a video and supporting files β AI analyzes the content, extracts screenshots, and creates a WordPress draft.
Human review before publishing, of course.
Let's see how it goes π
@asaio87 I don't think vibe coding is about replacing every $30 SaaS.
It's about building the tools you actually need, especially when existing software doesn't quite fit your workflow.
Sometimes paying for SaaS makes sense. Sometimes building your own does.
@MrNiceTry@filamentphp That's exactly my love-hate relationship with WordPress too
I run a content-heavy site with WooCommerce, so moving away from it feels like a huge project.
But I'm getting into vibe coding and starting to build my own tools, so I'll definitely check out Filament.
Thanks a lot!
Is WordPress becoming obsolete?
With AI, you can build websites and custom tools without writing a single line of code.
If you were starting a website from scratch today, would you still choose WordPress?
@jumplinks_sys That's interesting! I'm actually building an AI agent with ChatGPT to turn my YouTube videos into WordPress drafts, with human review before publishing.
I hadn't looked into WordPress MCP yet. Definitely something worth exploring!
Vibe coding update π
My YouTube-to-WordPress AI agent now has an interactive editor!
I can edit sections, select screenshots, preview the article, and export HTML.
No need to reprocess the video or spend more API credits.
It's actually working!
Vibe coding update :
My YouTube-to-WordPress AI agent already produced its first draft!
It analyzed the video, extracted screenshots, and generated a blog post.
Still plenty of things to polish, but I'm honestly amazed at how fast this is moving.
@MrNiceTry More like connected processes. I set everything up to work directly within ChatGPT, pulling data from GSC, Google Keyword Planner, and YouTube. No standalone app, just something I built to make my own workflow easier π
I vibe coded my first SEO & content research tool π
It connects Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, and my YouTube account directly to ChatGPT.
Now I can use my own data to spot content opportunities instead of guessing.
Now let's see if the SEO results follow! π€
@DeskRoot@MrNiceTry That's actually a great idea! I hadn't thought about keeping a file with all that business context. Even if I don't switch tools, it would be incredibly useful to have it documented and portable. Thanks for the tip!
Apple can inflate opens. Bots can trigger clicks.
Yet we still use these signals to decide who's engaged and who gets removed from our lists.
So, what signals are you using to identify genuinely engaged subscribers?
@MrNiceTry Not yet! I've been using ChatGPT for quite a while, and it already knows so much about my business and projects that switching feels like starting from scratch π
Do you think Claude Code is significantly better for building tools?
