Our new project @AbortionInUSA aims to help personal stories of the impact of abortion bans break through the noise and move people to act. Proud to be part of this team. https://t.co/Xc5D2P5O6j

Such an honor representing abortion rights and the need for health care for all.
@POTUS and @FLOTUS, thank you for all you’ve done to support women’s health and rights.
Here’s to the work ahead!
Today, I had the honor of awarding Cecile Richards the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
With absolute courage, she fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are – a nation of freedom.
Through her work to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality, and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote, she has carved an inspiring legacy.
@KamalaHarris@RebeccaSolnit That is the battle we are in. We have important work ahead of us, and we are just getting started. Today we reflect, and tomorrow we get back to it. ❤️
Happy #electionday!
We're still calling voters across key states and there are plenty of opportunities to join us. Join us for our phonebanking shifts: https://t.co/YpXP5Vcmyn
No experience needed—our team’s got you covered with guidance every step of the way!
Required Election Eve reading: the latest from @rosiewestwood on the power of women (and men!) coming forward to share their abortion stories. https://t.co/0xJvCRhXkx
I emailed with Cecile Richards about the election — and what comes next
"I had been waiting for this chance all my life," she said of casting a vote for VP Kamala Harris

This latest story from @propublica about Nevaeh Crain is gutting. She was a teenager who should be alive today, and isn’t, because of Texas’ abortion bans and refusal to provide lifesaving care even in a dire emergency. https://t.co/kVcl7YaAqG
🚨NEW: Health care providers and two women denied abortion care are suing Louisiana over a new law making pregnancy medications controlled substances, arguing it's discriminatory and unconstitutional.

Women should not be dying preventible deaths as doctors capable of saving their lives are forced to stand helplessly by. This is happening because of abortion bans.
.@propublica found Texas women who died while having miscarriages because doctors wouldn't treat them until their fetus had no detectable heartbeat.
Treating them would be a "crime," they feared.
@Cassandrajar & @Ksurana6 have the horrifying story:

Thank you @morningmika for devoting so much time and focus to the stories of these brave women and efforts like @AbortionInUSA and @themeteor dedicated to helping more people understand what it means to live, work, and raise a family in states with abortion bans.
"Who are you fighting for today, and why are you speaking out?"
@MorningMika asks Deborah Dorbert, Kaitlyn Joshua, and Amanda Zurawski— Three women who've endured unimaginable trauma in the face of restrictive healthcare laws—why they continue to fight.
