People forget that Gov DeSantis beat this guy in 2018 by less than 0.5%.
He would’ve been our Governor during Covid, kept us locked down, and the country would’ve never been the same.
The reason he almost won was b/c deep blue Broward County kept “finding” votes weeks after the election.
The vote fraud was stopped, DeSantis cleaned up our elections, and he won by almost 20% in 2022.
It’s amazing what happens when election fraud is cleaned up.
Who watched HOME FROM THE SEA this 4th of July?
This episode of Magnum is powerful, emotional and raw. The situation and action further develop the protagonist’s character by highlighting vulnerability and determination, and the episode incorporates flashbacks as backstory so the viewer gets a better sense as to what made Magnum who he is.
Each of my novels has a Magnum reference woven in...have you found them?
Most importantly, HOME FROM THE SEA reminds us that not everyone’s father makes it home from war.
“I made it, dad. Why didn’t you?”
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Dave Ramsey tells caller with $1,500,000 she can withdraw $10,000 a month without running out of money
Caller: “I'm a 62-year-old divorcee. I have zero debt. I don't own a home, but my car is paid for, and I'm living with my partner, who does not charge me rent. I have approximately $1.5 million in retirement funds. What is a good amount that I could take out monthly and still have enough to live on. My biggest fear is running out of money. I live very frugally now. I live on $2,000 a month and I think I just need guidance”
Dave: “Let's just do some basic math. What is your $1.5 million invested in?”
Caller: “Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs... mutual funds, growth stock mutual funds”
Dave: “The portfolio is averaging what the market has averaged. So let's pretend it's going up by 12% a year. If you pulled off 8%, that means it would still go up by 4% a year. Eight percent of $1.5 million is $120,000 a year. That's $10,000 a month”
“Here's the idea: if we make 12% and we pull off 8%, we never touch the $1.5 million, and it grows by 4% a year. You never even touch the principal, much less run out of money. It's perpetual. It's mathematically infinite if you don't touch it”
There have been 4 major revolutions in the past 250 years: American, French, Russian, and Chinese. Only one led to individual rights and prosperity. The others led to mass death and tyranny. The US revolution was unique because it said two things: 1. Our rights come from God not from the govt. 2. Humans are power -hungry so we need to limit govt power. So the next time someone attacks the nation of one revolution that succeeded and recycles the the idea of those that miserably failed, you can ask them: are you ignorant, or malicious?
The approval of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on the 4th of July, 1776 represented the ultimate political gamble.
The American revolutionaries were fighting against the world’s most powerful country, and the vast majority of colonists in America either opposed or were indifferent to independence.
While the odds were slim, the consequences for failure were severe. All 56 men who later signed the Declaration faced an assured death by hanging were the Revolution to fail.
And they had a lot to lose. The leaders of the Revolution were generally wealthy and influential in the colonies.
But they had suffered what Jefferson called a “long train of abuses” over the previous decade, and believed that failure to take a stand would lead to the destruction of their liberty.
So when they pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor, they meant it.
The Declaration was the ultimate political line in the sand: rights are God-given, not government-granted; government is legitimate only upon the consent of the governed; and government’s purpose is to safeguard the natural rights of the people.
What began as a conservative rebellion seeking the preservation of traditional English rights evolved into a political revolution that laid the foundation for the rise of the greatest republic in history — and that produced transformational consequences around the world.
We as Americans in 2026 are inheritors of this legacy of liberty and the beneficiaries of the courage, wisdom and dedication of the Founding Fathers.
We can acknowledge that our society and nation face a lot of problems. Whether there will be an America 500 celebration may very well depend on how this generation of Americans tackle these challenges.
But there can be no doubt that we are fortunate to be citizens of this republic. And we have a small group of patriots, who took a risky stand 250 years ago, to thank for that.
Happy America 250!

Audie Murphy was born on this day in 1925. There is sometimes confusion over his birth year because he falsified a birth certificate to join the Army following the attack on Pearl Harbor. He entered the military as a Private at age 17 and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant before earning a battlefield commission. He was wounded three times, fighting in 9 major campaigns in the Mediterranean and European Theaters of War. He would become the most decorated soldier of World War II receiving the Medal of Honor for his actions at the Battle of Colmar Pocket, Holtzwihr, France.
After the war, he wrote the bestselling book TO HELL AND BACK and starred in 44 movies. The 1955 movie adaptation of his autobiography was Universal’s highest-grossing film until 1975. He was one of the first to bring attention to what is now known as post-traumatic stress, focusing his efforts on assisting Korean War and Vietnam War veterans.
He was killed in a plane crash in 1971. He was 45. He is buried in Section 46 of Arlington National Cemetery.
In part, his Medal of Honor citation reads: “With the enemy tanks abreast of his position, 2d Lt. Murphy climbed on the burning tank destroyer, which was in danger of blowing up at any moment, and employed its .50 caliber machinegun against the enemy. He was alone and exposed to German fire from 3 sides, but his deadly fire killed dozens of Germans and caused their infantry attack to waver. The enemy tanks, losing infantry support, began to fall back. For an hour the Germans tried every available weapon to eliminate 2d Lt. Murphy, but he continued to hold his position and wiped out a squad that was trying to creep up unnoticed on his right flank. Germans reached as close as 10 yards, only to be mowed down by his fire. He received a leg wound, but ignored it and continued the single-handed fight until his ammunition was exhausted.”
After the war, he was asked what had motivated him to take those heroic actions that day. He replied simply: “They were killing my friends.”
If you know me, you understand why Father’s Day hits on a few different levels. Whether it was in training or in combat, from the inception of this country up through today, people have sworn an oath, stepped up, and sacrificed their lives in defense of freedom. On Father’s Day in particular, I remember those friends who didn’t make it back and whose kids are growing up wondering what life would have been like with a dad to throw the football with them, take them fishing, tuck them into bed at night, or walk them down the aisle. There are children across this nation having a different kind of day today, one of remembrance and reflection. Take a moment to think about them and hug your kids a little tighter knowing all of us are here today because of those who gave up their futures for ours.
Thank you to @navysealfoundation for all you do for the families of those who didn’t make it home.
Strength and Honor
What about all the entrepreneurs that risked everything and failed ?
Or the ones that are grinding it out, trying to build a business ? You know, the ones that create more than 60 pct of the new jobs in this country.
The more successful they are, the more you hate them?
Take their money so they can't invest in other founders? Or invest in causes they believe in ?
And the ones that fail and get to deduct 3k a year of their losses ? Or went for it and are broke and might never see enough income to offset those losses ? You don't care if they go broke ?
10 pct of the people in this country are entrepreneurs that have started a business.
You ever try to help them ?
There are plenty of discussions to be had about income inequality. About helping people who are struggling economically.
I've talked about a lot of them in my timeline.
But in reality, saying "Eat the rich" will end up helping no one except maybe politicians trying to raise money. And probably hurt those in need, as more money is spent playing politics then helping
Wealth tax. Unearned income tax. Show me the multi year behavioral analysis, as opposed to simple models, that show more jobs, higher wages and personal wealth will be created for those who need it. I'd love to read them
Ideology is not a strategy. Nor is it a plan that has lasting impact on people who need help
And so you know.
I'm not a believer in trickle down. It's a joke.
I am a believer in trickle up. Where we do all we can get to get appreciable assets and higher wages into the hands of people who have to live paycheck to paycheck. I've said before I think raising the federal minimum wage to $20 is smart. When I heard people who worked for a company I invested in (but didn't run) needed government assistance, I made sure they all got raises. It was embarrassing to me that we didn't pay enough. I've made, or helped make, at least a thousand millionaires. And I'll keep working to increase that number
And that's the point.
The best path to help more people is to work with the people that can help more people.
If you demonize business people , you just make it harder for them to help anyone.
I'm not saying there aren't greedy, blood sucking business people that will do anything for a dollar.
But they are a small minority. Most entrepreneurs realize they are blessed. They want to find ways to help. They think they can use the same skills that built their business to help people.
And they can. They can hire more. They can give raises. They can educate. And they do all these things to help.
I've sat with Democrats and Republicans, incumbents and candidates, and asked them why they aren't meeting with businesses that make and sell the products that have become unaffordable, and asking them what can be done to reduce prices.
I do this continuously regarding healthcare. It's easy to see where the friction and increased pricing is coming from. Why (the politicians ) aren't you meeting with them and asking them to change ? Offering to support those that do raise wages, lower prices , improve benefits. Politicians just won't do it. They prefer the donations.
I did shark tank for 15 years purely to show people they can start small, grow their businesses, and help not only themselves, but their employees and their communities as well. And thats exactly what has happened.
Demonizing those that have success is counterproductive to every benefit you want to help bring to people.
As a general rule, anytime Barack Obama lectures the country or its people on their purported sins—with Khalil Gibran pop platitudes—he is seeking absolution for his own obsessions by projecting his own guilty desires onto others.
The latest? At the dedication of his narcissistic Obama Presidential Center in Chicago—a $850 million flak-tower, monolithic boondoggle mired in debt—Obama lectured us on the need to resist the allure off "money, attention, [and] fame."
Thus spoke the owner of four homes, three of them multimillion-dollar mansions, whose last inert year in office was spent closing book and Netflix deals that ensured he would become a multimillionaire the moment he left office, and on spec, jets private to sermonize to various audiences–often at $400,000 a shot—on their own false-consciousness shortcomings.
Plain-speaking, frugal Harry Truman in obscure retirement in Independence, Missouri Obama certainly is not.
I am 54 years old, been blind my entire adult life, I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice from the University of South Florida and a 30 year veteran at my local sheriffs office in Florida. I have a full retirement with medical benefits, not sure what you’re trying to say?
I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die.
And there is now a trillionaire.
5 Weird Facts That Shock Me Living in Florida
1. With over 1,350 miles of coastline and more than a billion beach visits per year, shark attacks are ridiculously rare. Watch out for lightning, though.
2. Despite our 23-plus million residents, we also get over 142 million visitors a year (nearly 6 per resident), yet violent crime is still well below the national average.
3. Even more shocking, with all that population + MILLIONS of tourists, our traffic somehow isn’t the absolute worst in America (even if it feels like it). I still hate I-4, though.
4. Florida manages to remain #1 in lowest tuition, while also being 1st in graduation rates and overall higher education, 10 years running. States like California and Illinois could learn a thing or two.
5. Did you know Florida has wild monkeys and parrots? Throw in various pink birds, alligators, panthers, bears, crocs, pythons, and even some green anacondas, and we seriously live in an accidental open-air zoo.

The older I get, the more I believe happiness lives in the ordinary. Pets. Plants. A quiet morning coffee. Blue sky. Cotton clouds. Birds singing. The gentle breeze through the trees. A clean, cosy house. Good food. Good hearted simple poeple. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here. And somehow, one of the sweetest feelings is knowing I get to wake up and meet it all again tomorrow.
One of the most amazing military operations ever. Congratulations to everyone whose skill and bravery made it possible. God bless you all and Happy Easter!
