A news reporter asked Michael Jordan if he thought the ’90s Bulls could beat LeBron’s Lakers.
MJ: Yes.
Reporter: By how much?
MJ: Two or three points.
Reporter: Why so close?
MJ: Most of us are almost 60 now.
Never saying sorry is a sign of insecurity, not strength.
When you can admit a mistake, express vulnerability, acknowledge when a decision went wrong, that breeds trust.
When you never do it? You’re hiding something.
The refusal to apologize signals there’s something underneath that can’t withstand scrutiny.
You think you’re projecting strength. You’re projecting fear.
After the Bay of Pigs in 1961 — Kennedy’s first major foreign policy disaster — he stood up and said victory has a thousand fathers but defeat is an orphan and he took full responsibility.
His approval ratings went up.
That’s the difference between confidence and insecurity.
The most self-assured people I’ve ever met are the quickest to say I was wrong.
Real growth starts with self-awareness.
It’s hard to look in the mirror and admit, I’m part of the problem.
Easier to point fingers like the Wizard of Oz.
But when you own your mistakes, something shifts — you get more grounded, more empathetic, and people give you grace because you’re not hiding.
Three rules I live by: own it, stay self-aware, and remember there’s always a renewal button.
Focus on what’s working, learn from what isn’t.
That’s just being human.
When a friend gets knocked down — fired, disgraced, humbled — real friends run toward them, not away.
I’ve been on the mat before, and I’ll never forget who showed up.
Here’s the lesson: don’t be cruel on the way up.
If you are, when you fall, nobody calls.
When I got fired, people who mattered reached out and said, “How can I help?”
That’s integrity. And integrity compounds.
It creates opportunity, loyalty, and relationships that actually last.

You can deny him his rightful spot in the NFL Hall of Fame. But you can't take away what he means to Giants fans, and what he's done for this game. Eli Manning will forever be my QB! @EliManning#NYGIANTS
I am proud to stand with @nynurses in their fight for fair wages, fair benefits, safe working conditions, and a secure retirement.
In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., an injustice against our nurses is an injustice against us all. Caring for those who care for us is part of the social contract that sustains American healthcare.
@_LoveLike_JESUS@GEOGONZ Please stop generalizing groups of people. That is very short sighted - God rejects collective guilt — ‘each will answer for their own sin’ (Ezekiel 18:20).
@_LoveLike_JESUS What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 Facts: As of 11/2025, ICE's own data 73.6% of detainees had no criminal conviction so only about 26.4% had any conviction based on ICE’s own published detention stats
Powerful message from Nataki Jarrett, RN at Mount Sinai West.
"To every nurse standing here today: Your voice matters. Your courage and your story matter. We became nurses because we care."
