@GMB sad news Fiona Philip’s Alzheimer’s diagnose. I welcome her shining a light on this awful disease. My sister has early onset Dementia, she has bravely lived with this horrendous illness for eight years. She has been a lot braver than me as I struggle with her diagnosis.

@PhilippaGBooks you are so right about the history they teach in schools. I adored history until it came to gcse when it was 💯 history of ww1 and 2. Which is important but totally lost my interest and I left the class. Looking forward to reading your new book.

The Chancellor will lend energy firms money to knock £200 off around 27 million domestic electricity bills. But with 300,000 extra meters a year, the £40 repayments will be taken from 28.5m bills by 2027/28 bringing in an extra £180million. Rough calculations but gives the scale.

@PINsykes It’s the frustration that gets to you. I was all dressed up at my children’s PTA evening and on of the other children’s father said “get out of my way you slag” As he walked past. I will never forget it and find it shocking to this day. He was a scumbag.
