Nehru’s Fear and Opposition to the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

When Congress was in power with Nehru as Prime Minister, India supported the anti-Ahmadi agitation led by the Ahrar.

On 22 July 1952, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (R.A) stated:

Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan has given a terrible decision upholding the ban on the writings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad sb. Ahmadis cannot even access their own religious literature in Pakistan. Article 20 and Objectives Resolution’s promise of the right of minorities to freely develop their cultures has been buried. Another shameful day for Pakistan.

My appeal to my Pakistani Nationalist comrades - you know my only identity is Pakistani and I am a Pakistani first second and last. So see what I am about to say in that light. The foundational basis for Pakistan is the Lahore Resolution whether you look at it constitutionally, politically or historically. Yes Pakistan needs new smaller administrative units but whatever the solution, it cannot be at the expense of the “autonomous” and “sovereign” constituent units ie Sindh, Punjab, KPK and Balochistan. Think of these constituent units as the Pakistani equivalent of Great Britain’s four nations ie England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. If you want to preserve Pakistan, it is best to convert Pakistan into a federation of Republics of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and KPK (Look at the Russian Federation with its 20 plus republics for inspiration) and then divide those Republics into provinces. Chaudhry Rehmat Ali the first true Pakistani nationalist had a commonwealth in mind ie the Pak Commonwealth. I wrote a piece on this which I am Replugging here. What I must caution you against is abandoning the Lahore Resolution. There is no escaping it. It's not normal politics, he even funded ahrar to crush Ahmadis which led to 1953 riots. This is where the molvis started their demand of declaring Ahmadis "non-muslim". It was funded by nehru, he feared and hated Ahmadis and basically started the anti-ahmadi movement in Pakistan.

It might be exceptional in indian in some way or another, history proves that whenever hindutva ideology felt a threat they tried their best to crush Ahmadis.

This is a beautiful Punjabi Naat by Ahmadis. Islam has nothing to do with culture, every language can be used to praise Muhammad S.A.W and Ahmadis are the prime example of pulling it off without committing shirk in poetry.

Only Ahmadiyya Islam can erase the ethnic hatred in Pakistan.

Find me a similar Punjabi or Sindhi rendition, you simply cant.
Punjabi will give you sikh vibes, while Sindhi will give you 'hindu rajistani' vibes.
Urdu speaking Culture is synonymous with South Asian Islamic civilization.

Ahmadis do consider them to be rejectors of the Messiah but in the broader term of Muslim we still accept them as Muslims and respect their right of self identification and put them under the umbrella of Islam.

And this type of declaration has been made for every sect for every sect and no Ahmadis didn't initiate it, it was non-ahmadis who declared that Ahmadis are not Muslims.

As an Ahmadi, I would prefer to live in Pakistan than India.
